Check out all of those grooves! First few throws feel very similar to Rebirth.
Looks fantastic and is exactly what I plan to do when mine arrives.
With the arrival of hubstacks my a-may-zing Confusion has reached its final form…
Edit: I had forgotten how awesome this throw was for getting into a responsive 5A flow state. Some combination of the weight, the occasionally stack usage, the cheap enough price that I don’t really care if I drop it, the sweet regens, and an awesome tape measure finish make this throw really flow.
Cool colorway! Im not sure if I’ve seen that one before.
You will probably like it more in person when you have yours. For me the finish of the side effect plays off the finish of the yoyo cup. Photo didn’t pick that up.
Grasshopper GTX 2.0 and Reboot. Duncan bimetals continue to impress and the reboot is just plain fun.
A clear DEMA from polyform and a clear OD reboot. Cant believe how fast the clear reboots went super stoked I got one🙏
As someone who finds clears and raws somewhat boring, can someone who doesn’t explain what it is that they like about them?
There must be more of you than there are of me since its usually the first colorway to sell out.
its clean like a white t shirt or a new pair of white shoes. It just makes sense.
Great first choice.
Beautiful
I actually found I care a lot less about dings on clear, so the clear has set me free.
- I love how clear throws look with neon yellow strings. They go together like pb&j.
- They look good with any color string. No need to play the matching game.
- They are easy to track especially against a black background.
- Dings/Scuffs are not as easy to see.
I did my best not to buy any yoyos this month but it seemed like a bad idea to skip the Reboot, and it wasn’t like it was suuper expensive or anything. Had to grab some black spikes, they look so cool on it. I love how the ridges feel on my hand and it is indeed a very fun yoyo.
The other reason I went for such a light throw is the fact that it has side effects so I can make it heavier I need to try to find some brass spikes or other heavy side effects so I can experiment. Went with the black spikes for now and this weight is excellent, I just wanna see how heavy I can make it. Not now, I’ll post an LF thread when I start looking a little bit down the line. Who knows, maybe I’ll find some at Nationals next month!
I keep hoping that runs of the Zissou will also mean more brass SEs.
There were some AL disks in the store last year, but other than that, I believe that flat caps have been heaviest easily available SEs for a while.
Exactly. I second all of this. Perfection.
This is the best reason. Yellow string + raw/clear colorway = $$$$
