it was a valiant, but fruitless mission.
I got the bearings. No issue there. Thanks for the info on that. I couldn’t get the yoyo to tighten on the bearing though. I, oviously, didn’t want to crank on it but I could see light around the side of the bearing. so the yoyo was tight, but not on the bearing. Looks like the axle boss is too long, so the sides tighten on each other and the gap is too wide for the slim bearing.
i think it won. i’m going to get a nice clean bearing and throw it as the high-walled unresponsive it wants to be.
though…the response area is recessed. i could pull those little pads and flow some silicone in there…
