In the near future sci-fi world of Qualityland, algorithms help create an idyllic life for its citizens, but what if the perfect world wasn’t built for you?

The Three Body Problem series is so epic. I could (and have) talk about it for hours. And I’m also reading the Wheel of Time! @Splizacular That’s so cool that you got to meet him. Currently on book 8, still got a long way to go but I’m looking forward to it!

I just finished the Mist Born Saga, and picked back up the Wheel of time where i left off. Book 5 The fires of Heaven. I had hard time getti g through this book in the past. It seems to get really slow which has caused me to put it down in the past. I decided to give it another go.

I’ve been slowly chewing through the Spellmonger series by Terry Mancour, then it’s back to probably re-read The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson because the new book came out.

No way!! That’s my wife’s favorite series, I made it to book 5 before life got in the way and I lost time to keep up with listening, and lost the plot. I should start it over and give the series another go!

I recently finished Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff. Also 14 by Peter Clines. I listen to audiobooks more often then read and the narrators and the storeies were excellent

Don’t wanna give too much away, but it’s about the first contact with aliens and how that impacts humanity’s evolution throughout the distant future. Friend of mine said he didn’t know he could be so scared reading a book as an adult. And I agree, I couldn’t stop thinking about it for months.

I agree. The ending was super whack to me also but I enjoyed it all in all. The world building was super dope.

Sanderson brought excitement back to the series. The ending was a bit odd, but all-in-all it wrapped nicely enough.

Oh that’s so cool you got to meet him. I just discovered him and the wheel of time series, I have not read it before but I think it’s gonna be cool. I want to get into reading fantasy and my buddy told me it’s like the American lord of the rings.
