Decided to go out into the shop to make myself a counterweight. Weighs 10 grams exactly. It’s not a work of art by any means, but it does its job.
Also dusted off my Sage, which was my very first modern yoyo!

The one thing I don’t like about side effects is the difficulty in obtaining them in colors that match my yoyos. For instance, it doesn’t sound like there will ever be teal side effects to go with my Deep State, or orange side effects to go with my Parlay.
Do you think it’d be possible to make one out of plastic? or wood?
Think the cool thing about SEs is that they sorta stand out.

ok honestly it’d suck to have the most vulnerable part of the yoyo be made from wood or plastic. Maybe bootleg a design and send it to a machine shop?

Preproduction model of Ryuichi Nakamuras signature yoyo. Doesn’t have a name yet.

The specs look great, and it looks very classy in its raw form!
It’s honestly one of the best looking designs I’ve ever seen, really compelled me to buy it. Clean straight catchzone, beautiful aesthetic touch for the cup and nice minimal engravings.
It’s actually anodized grey but the cups are polished which makes it look really nice.
