I absolutely stunned by this video. I was almost sure that this yoyo was set up responsive, but you don’t use some of those binds unless a yoyo is unresponsive. Or get snags with that amount of slack. @edhaponik, is everything in this video played with the yoyo set up unresponsive? A mix? Either way an incredible show of skill and style. I like your style much more than the standard 1A stuff.

Ha THANK YOU! And yeah that’s just a stock CC Standard, so unresponsive. My fixed axle and responsive tricks have just cross-pollinated a lot with my unresponsive tricks.

Was that a quad kickflip I saw? I can only imagine landing one, but based on this display, i bet he can do it only as often as I do a double. I have not yet tried to do stall combos on 1A yoyos, but I now feel really inspired to try. But not at this level though, damn.

And if you can hit a double, you can hit a quad lol!
The thing about those is timing. The highest I’ve hit is a SEPT-flip lol? Too fast to track and you really need to use an imperial to spin it quick enough for that many flips. Butterflies have too much drag!

I’ve been getting into bind stall play lately and blending it in to my 1A. Couple pointers, throw softly and use something with an organic High wall, an H-Shape Bi-metal won’t help here. I try and bind above my NTH and then catch like a regular trapeze stall. It you need a TuT @MrYoyoThrower did one a while back. If you play a lot of 0A it will come naturally. Now Bother Stall Catches are harder and I’m currently trying to work those out.
