Catchy air is definitely fun, but the heavy tama with a tiny bevel is taking some getting used to 
still glad you pushed me over the fence to buy it!

My prototype I’ve made entirely a responsive. I’ll have to find a prod one again at some point. Very much was my favorite unresponsive while I had one

Haven’t been able to put it down once the ultra grey dried! I’ve never thrown a Borealis before, but this is a little different anyway right? Instant fave, 10/10 monometal.

Haha, well I took that before Christmas. We had been losing our snow this week and then BAM we got a foot last night and it’s a snowday today! 
I’d never thought of the tama being heavy. It seemed pretty on par with more tamas and they are mostly weight matched. I weighed 3 sets a while back:
Ken: 74.3g; 73.4g; 73.8g
Tama: 72.0g; 72.3g; 73.5g
What you need to do is upgrade the bevel!

Extremely well in my opinion. I need to weigh it since I can find specs anywhere. It feels much lighter than I suspect it is.
Edit: Weighed in at 65.05 g…assumed it’d be close to the Contrast. It certainly plays lighter.
