Delrin Gamer’s been neglected since I got it in 2020 and having learned a lot about 0a since, I had the setup all wrong, no wonder it felt off. Threw a normal C bearing back in and now we’re talking 
Made a tweak to the Viper as the bearing honeymoon phase was very short lived and began to not get clean winds/slippage the next day. I also bought the wood transaxle and have been throwing that rest of day yesterday and all day today and I feel like I have much better control.
Yes, I opened my Joe Cool XT because yoyos were meant to be played with. I find with my tastes that the XT feels best with thinner string due to its gap.

I threw it out, then swung it up, then back out… Me and my Otter shot the moon today!!! My wife was so proud. I told her as much time as I’ve been spending with it, I’d have it figured out this year. I just had to slow it down, not start my first throw as high, and not come as close to my hand as I wanted to. I love the feel and weight of the softer cherry wood, but I’ve about clawed my Otter to death with my fingerpicking nails. May have to order a fresh one to commemorate today’s achievement!

Didn’t expect a DocPop Bolt XP to handle 0a pretty well - set it up with a greased slim bearing and it feels lovely. Hefty but lovely. I’m enjoying some heft as well as light 0a throws
