bravo!!
Ummm… this is uh… making me feel a certain typpa way
I don’t know what this is but I need one now
Project Y Prototype putting in work…
trying to catch some of the blues that come out when that light hits it
i am very pleased with everything about this, and am planning accordingly.
First send me your address so I can send you a couple of turbo discs. That will make it much easier to tune your sb2.
I have some. My pocket rocket came with spares
Here we go with a new proto. One I enjoying a lot. I added a video me playing my proto in case somebody wonders if I use my own throws.

Throwing the oak KNack around.
Oak fixies sometimes look rustic and rough in pictures - like you might get splinters or something. At least that’s what I thought before owning one. But they simply feel solid, well crafted, and perfectly suited for fixie play.
Cheers to fixed-axle February.
I’ve got one of those! My first Ti. Good Times for sure!
Topyo TwinDrive.
A Supersmile generator…
Amazingly interesting yoyo.
Very powerful, yet feels light and has a unique hollow/floaty feel to it. Hard to explain…
The best thing I can come up with is a gyroscope. With a gyroscope you can feel the weight in the hand but once you pull the cord, the gyro has a more ‘weightless’ feel to it.
The TwinDrive has a Superb power feel on the throw down. (Like a 68 gram yoyo)But once in motion, it moves/feels like a 63 gram yoyo.
Spins like a ‘Mutha#’…
I can’t technically explain ‘why’?
It has the 2 metal rings no doubt. But they are so close to each other; I sure can’t vouch that their Magic is in their positioning? Dunno…
It’s kinda like your Mom makes cookies without an exact recipe. She doesn’t use a measuring cup. She doesn’t read from a directions page. She just has this touch of mixing stuff together and once they come out of the Oven. You only need to add milk and your good to go.
Can’t exactly explain that either.
If Topyo invited me over for dinner. I have no idea what would be on the menu.
But I would certainly bring a gallon of milk just in case they make cookies too.
The TwinDrive is abnormal.
Abnormal is good…
PS… one exception> I Love Titanium yoyos. And just about every Ti yoyo I have, sings a slightly different tune. Some zing, some ring, some echo the dry bearing sounds… They have a certain Zen to them.
The Rings on the TwinDrive have no aspirations to join the Choir. The Ti sounds are effectively deadened by the rings. The rings on it cancel the rings from it.
Oh well…
i feel the same way about the doombot. regardless of the plane it’s in at the end of the string (to an extent) it has an incredible feeling of stability. very unique as well.
Whew I miss my cascade
Currently the YO3 Hertz and the expedition
The Hertz is awesome and has been what I’ve been throwing most often.
I havent thrown in 7 years. Just got back into it. I use to think the best budget throw was a yoyojam surge. The Hertz blew me away, heck of a toy for the price
