A whole lotta V today. Zero Gravity Basilisk and ODxMFD Firedevil Ridgeback. Both laced with @BadWolfeCo custom Sliccs.
“Custom” Bad Wolfe Co usually just means “something I hadn’t thought of yet that’ll probably end up in my shop anyway” Absolutely love both those throws, that Fire Devil colorway reminds me of Spider-Man and the Basilisk is crazy good.
this custom?
Nope, just an acid washed MMC with Anti-Yo SE’s and proto project y.
What is that throw?
Resto, fittingly sitting on my mattress. Really need some restoration after yesterday’s terrible sleep and I’m glad to say the resto did do a bit of that.
How do you like the Resto? I’ve been eyeballing it as an edc pocket throw, but have been worried it’s a little too slim.
This week throw:
(OD - Terrarian)
I like the OD flat bearing fealing.
But with NSK concave, it’s soooooo smooth, almost another yoyo.
It’s excellent! The catch zone on the resto is quite significant. It might be larger than the deep state. Of course with a slimmer yoyo you’ll still have to hit your tricks accurately but it’s not frustratingly difficult. Boingy-boings and Eli Hope will definitely need some practice to hit accurately on this but other tricks isn’t too difficult. The bimetal design gives it the much needed stability as well so it’s much more stable than a lot of other pocket throws out there. It plays like a stable organic on the string, not extremely nimble but also not sluggish either. It also doesn’t play floaty which is surprising for its low weight. Fingerspins are tough as heck thou, nails are 100% required. All in all, a great pocket throw. It’s my second best performing one after the mini star 2.
I have the same thing…exactly!
Wanted to play with my dog, but it’s snowing outside here in NJ. Decided to take a Butterfly. I havent done kickflips in a while, they are so much fun. Plus playing out in the snow was chill.
