Benmichael86 And mable This is rlly helpful thank u guys way more in depth than I anticipated but what I needed! It still leaves me just as undecided as I was before but on the other hand all throws leave me on the fence so it’s no reflection on u guys Love this forum and community!
If you should ever get bored with your Akita I’d buy it, even if it is damaged from 5a play
It’s Saturday so gotta play some Saturday market

Been throwing my new Ti Sunbird ever since I got it. I really feel like this yoyo hits a sweet spot for me. It’s not too fast that I can’t control it, but just right for performing my more challenging tricks. It’s not too wide or narrow, diameter is not too big (I find 56+mm yoyos to be a bit big).
I’ve seen some mixed response to this yoyo, and I think that people are looking at it the wrong way. Comparing it to crazy fast bi-metals is going to leave you disappointed, because the Sunbird was never that yoyo. My Exia, Peregrine, and even my monometal Banshee are faster, but this is imo a sweet spot between overly fast float machines and stuff like the MMC.
This thing is just a really well rounded yoyo that is more like Mario than Toad (ie Mario Kart). Im honeymooning, but this is currently looking to replace the UI for my Ti EDC. I don’t need to extra width of the UI and like the added stability. Great job on this throw yoyofriends!
Gettin’ some feels on Project Y again as our next adventure, Project Ti, gets put into motion… and it looks like 138 protos may be here as soon as tomorrow!
Exactly how I feel about it. It doesn’t push to any extremes, it’s well rounded and great for learning challenging tricks. One thing I really appreciate about a good ti, or any great monometal, is how they feel lively and have a little bounce in their step. It is hard to find a bimetal with that same characteristic. I love bimetals for other reasons, but really well balanced, versatile ti is my definite favorite type of yoyo.
