Luftverk Stelvia X-SP
Been curious about that one. Whaddaya think of it?
Also what is that string???
It’s my favourite plastic, great spin time and stability as well as being comfy in the hand and a nice finish for grinds. I have used mono metals at the same price which don’t feel as nice as this.
It’s home made, 50-50 cotton and lyocell, which is a cellulose thread similar to rayon.
As they are both plant based they absorb dye better than synthetic threads like polyester and nylon, so I was able to play around with the fade.
i went from i dont think i want one, to okay i kinda want one, to OMG I NEED THAT LEMON
I’m just out here on a sick day enjoying this beautiful weather throwin’ everything.
“Physical activity” and fresh always does ya good, right?
I’ve seen that there are a few users on here who make string in-house. Is there a special loom you need as well as special thread?
This is a really useful thread with lots of links on what you can do. For making string you can make a DIY rig or you can use a drill with a hook and something to tie thread around. I haven’t built a rig yet as I’m just playing around with ideas at the moment but I love making string so will probsbly get too it soon.
All you need to use embroidery thread to make the string. Standard polyester thread is a good starting point as its cheap and easily available and then its about finding what works.
I love being outside and throwing. It’s just peaceful
Is there a filter on this? That’s a crazy looking lemon.
No filter, but the color is washed out. I think due to a combination of the light level and green background.
I see. It’s like a blue/black dress white/gold dress sorta situation. Kinda it’s a very cool picture
What is THAT!?!
Keith killed it on this.
