Isn’t the Jackpot around 51mm width? It’s resemblance to the Wilderness is very close like a smaller brother in the family per say. The Wilderness is actually seeing a bunch of Chinese variation knockoffs from the Chinese websites I looked at. The Wilderness design or the spec measurements is very popular where other brands are trying to emulate its player approval and selling success. I have the Jigun Onigokko3 and the Jigun Marina9 an I would easily compared the 2 to the G2 Jackpot being they are spec nearly the same. The Jigun Onigokko3 for me is the best budget 6061 aluminum monometal for 2025. The Marina9 is a more of a high end version of the Onigokko3 in bi material or trimaterial form. None of these yoyos are yet being sold in the US have to be ordered from Japan and China to make a comparison to the Jackpot.

Looking at the long range forecast, this is one of the last afternoons of this year before the second ice age hits NC. Lovely afternoon today though and an opportunity to stink up the throwing thread with another spin top!

These will all get played today. Been on a fixie kick this year, wood is good, some DLC and a No Jive for good measure. Was also playing a Duncan Butterfly like crazy but my buddy sent me a Manta Ray and it’s like a Butterfly with added weight and a wooden axle.
For modern responsive bearing, it’s hard to beat the Forager, and I always need a a slim pocket fun throw, hence the WaffleStomper. And even though the Ardeus throw doesn’t have a bearing, it plays like it does
And I can’t completely forsake unresponsive, hence my current favorite unresponsive, a Ptarmigan with a D bearing

I think that the Slingshot is one of the coolest looking throws that I’ve ever seen.
What do you think of the Armadillo? That shape is so intriguing, but there are others that I have my eye on and unfortunately, I can’t get all the yoyos.
That’s sick looking! I love that you can spin it like a top. But it would shred my jeans pocket if I carried it around for even one day.
