oh dang I haven’t seen a gunmetal one in ages! I oughta see if those anodizers would be able to recreate this on my next one, the way this came out was really cool

My EDCs - back to throwing yo-yos again after mostly focusing on dama for a few weeks. For some reason, Blueberry 
(set up with the ZGRT blank) wasn’t responding the way I wanted it to, so I took a break from playing it. Now we’re back and it’s playing great again. 
The Universe, am I right? — As much as I love the simplicity of playing fixed axle, fixies seem to be the most sensitive to slight variations in string thickness and twist tighteness. And I think sometimes you just get a weird string… Or several in a row… 
Either way, this teaches me to really enjoy those times when everything feels just right. And when it doesn’t, don’t chase it, just give it time. It will come back.

Things that have been in rotation lately:
- clyw leaf best clyw it’s a must have imo
- Unparalleled/dale tubat metal capsule love this thing it’s so fun i like that it has the dimensions of a contest yoyo but has minimal rimweight it bounces all over the place and it’s fun to do body tricks with it also i dig the engraving
- One drop laguna fav plastic rn so satisfying to play
- Can’t remember the name of this one or who made it but it goes hard
- One drop thruline i engraved the rims for funzies also od needs to make more contest yoyos this thing is a beast
- Wild halcyon so good best contest yoyo right now imo or maybe close runner up to the new akita idk they’re neck and neck in my brain
- Atmos clyw fora that i bought off matt poon at spirit this thing rules you should get one
- Clyw maple drip bonfire idk why but this new run of bonfire plays so much better than the original run, i wasn’t too into it when it first came out but this specific one plays so good
- Yyr gargantua i impulse bought this as an afterthought during a yye sale years ago and put it straight into my collection drawer, pulled it out out of curiosity recently and honestly i prefer it over the diffusion now this thing is really good
- Jake bullock secret slim best dunk variation imo most tasteful use of bimetal i’ve played

Yes, Blueberry started life as a navy RBC.
Which reminds me, this December marks 3 years that Blueberry has been my main EDC. 
Definitely over 1000 hours of play for this guy now.

G2 Jackpot, trying to describe the difference between it and the Wilderness 7075. I think the Jackpot is actually a bit zippier and even more rim weighted. It’s also slightly less wide:
