Interesting technique with the cast iron skillet on the grill.

works great to smash the burgers and get that nice crispy texture! also makes it much easier to cleanup than having to scrub down the grill lol :rofl:

Colossus IV Max are back on the menu! Kitty first class XXL string works great with 3A short strings and a 4.5 gap.

Trying to figure out how to get this No Jive to respond properly.

What’s its problem often if it’s not balanced you can tune them by taking out the hex nut and turning it and re inserting it put it back together and see how that plays if still viby then do it again.

If it’s too responsive you can shim the wood axle and if it’s not responsive enough you can take sand paper and sand the axle down a smidge till it responds the way you want.

It’s tedious but you can tune the no jive to near perfection in most cases. I get however why @edhaponik took a while to go through the random halves he got from tk a while back to make good pairs

Balanced string torsion is key I have been finding with mine. Also I need to ”warm it up”

I use YYE 100%cotton on mine, touch of chapstick

I’m no @edhaponik tho, as we know, he is the No Jive whisperer lol

In a pinch you can add turbo disks, usually one on one side is enough

I feel like there’s a video out there on ways to tune a no jive

@rkalajian warming up is key

@edhaponik also has a tuning guide
