It was a surprise Christmas gift from @KirbyRobot during a meet. I’m pretty sure he told me it was from a preproduction run.

Never heard of the brand ‘Phobia’ before and I think the ‘Monophobia’ is their debut model but I have to say they made an awesome first impression. It caught my eyes because of its theme, shape and especially because of the engravings (they give of Unknown and Coffin vibes imo) but it plays exceptionally great as well. It’s powerful, spins for a long time, moves easily and slightly floaty without sacrificing the feeling of power and presence.

Thank you very much for pointing me to that thread. It was nice following the development process by scrolling through it. The only referenced throw I also own is the Edge Ultimatum and so far I can say that @rizurizu44 a hundred percent nailed what they where going for. The maneuverability, the shape, the weight distribution, even the nice ‘ping’ sound. The more I throw the Monophobia the more I enjoy it (and I already enjoyed it a great deal from throw one). It just clicks with me and it definitely has a lot of ‘soul’. Highly recommend this throw and it would be great if YoyoExpert @AndreBoulay 
could stock them at some point. I’m immensely curious what ‘Phobia’ will come up with next.
I’m gonna go too deep. Shelf queens aren’t my thing. Toys want to play. But if I were going to change my mind. It would start here. Not just because only eight exist, or that it is an artist proof, or that this colorway will never be produced again. But a lot of it is because it is a weird piece of history. This colorway, all in good fun, is called Trade Warz. This whole thing only exists because of a moment in time. That’s real fun to me, and why I had to go for it.
My first time taking part in a MFD “stampede” too! Landed #1 of eight…makes me giddy! Am I an official gunslinger now??
