Absolutely
I find myself being intrigued by that book looks like a very interesting read…
Hah! Yeah I find it super interesting! It’s written by a french historian and gets super heady sometimes but yeah just packed with interesting facts about how black has been viewed and used over history in the western world. Definitely not dry history and has been totally shifting my perspective about what I thought I knew…challenging my conventions and preconceived notions which is something I appreciate. Starts to speak to the human condition as well in a way because of how history can provide insights into humanity and how we have experienced that over time. I definitely can see how it would not be for everyone, but I usually never read non-fiction and something about this has really been resonating with me.
This author has written histories of white, blue, green, yellow, pink, and red so far (also stripes). Here’s a section of the introduction that might help you get a sense if the book would be worth looking into more or not for you. (Start where I highlighted) I am hesitant to recommend it 100% bc it is weird and so heady but yeah I am really into it lol
I’m alive i promise just been super busy, I have not stopped yo-yoing entirely again like the last 2 (3?) times.
Ohhh yeah, this is right up my alley… going to check my local library after work!
@Ardeus really did his thing with this TPU stompling!
What is that yoyo? Looks fun!
Hilarious pic
pretty sure the corvus is slightly heavier than the 60/60 too lmao
Lol, the Corvus is nesting
I almost say ‘the egg’ was in the nest, bird because it’s the bird colorway, the bird is indeed nesting.
Spotties!
We got into a Zone where we pulled in about 15 14 to 16 inch spotties. We brought in 30 fish in under 2 hours. Half legal size.
