Jazzyo Suzaku Carbon fiber wrapped on a solid Ti body with a gloss resin finish.

Wow, never seen that before Thanks for the images! May I ask how the carbon effect the play? Since it is “just” wrapped around the body it seems more like a an optical gimmick to me, but I might be wrong here. The look is defenitly pretty cool!

Hard to describe tbh it’s very much one of those words don’t do it justice until you play it and see exactly what it mean kinda designs. The carbon fiber is far from an optical gimmick and more the perfect material medium to get the desired weight distribution while pushing the Ti near to it limits spec wise. It’s almost feels like a hybrid design that yoyojam would have some up with. The transition between materials is seamless and smooth and the finish feels incredibly satisfying. In play it’s fast and easy to change direction, and it’s ridiculously stable for a slightly modified V. One of my hands down favorite midschool Ti’s.

Wow, that sounds awesome! Thanks a lot for your insights. It’s really only the second time I’ve heard of a yo-yo that’s partially made of carbon fiber (the other being the infamous Rev G). It’s also cool that the carbon actually has a (positive) effect on performance and is not just a gimmick. Really one of the most outstanding designs I have seen in a while. Would be cool if a manufacturer dared to try a design like this again in the future.
