Back in the day people used to make their own grooved bearings using a dremel not sure there is enough material there but haven’t had a yoyo with that size bearing yet.

A-May-Zing Confusion w/ Buddha Fat string.
I’m trying to dial in the response on this one so I threw on some fatter string. I had YYSL Type X before.
Might deshield and add a touch of lube later and see how it plays.

Yeah the MR85 does make it look big.
The yoyo is 50mm in diameter though, so quite small.

There aren’t any for sale unfortunately. Five people invested in getting them made and only they will get one.

I don’t think I can only because it vibes because of the fact it requires a high quality and well maintained bearing to be smooth. People would complain.

Have you consudered trying a slimline unresponsive? Or would there still be issues with thr same bearing?
You are probably right, although some vibe is a price I am willing to pay for a unique experience. I would just run the bearing dry and blame myself.

I’m stoked on the little fatty but, if you ever got a wild hair and decided to try to design a slimmer Mr85 unresponsive, I’d definitely be down to preorder just like you did with the lemon.
