What are you throwing, 2022?

I am now kind of wanting a gopa but am more so responding to the way you held your yo-yos. Idk why but it made me laugh pretty hard. Thanks man

Lol thanks for noticing. I’m just trying to make things more interesting  How many times can I photo the same yoyos, you know? (Apparently too many times )

It is honestly how I imagine Smeagol would hold two rings.

Close to the bone, my friend.:rofl::rofl:

How does it play? I’ve never played a monometal Amusing, but I have almost pulled the trigger on the bimetal version.

Dang everybody is carrying undersized stuff today. Yoyofactory x Turning Point Chaotic. I’ve been enjoying using a holster whenever I go out now, and it’s really fun to get asked about it. I’ve started to really enjoy doing tricks for people, it’s mostly just older people asking for classic tricks though which I don’t mind. I’ve got my DNA and godspeed practiced and on lock though, so I’m coming in prepared.

Enjoy the throw.

The monometal floats well and is fairly light feeling. They call it an organic, and I’d tend to agree as it’s very smooth feeling in the hand and again, just chill. It’s not slow, but it does not want to go fast like a V. I think part of that is because it’s pretty wide (though not freakishly so) and there’s a lot of surface area. It’s a great throw.

For the Max, it’s much the same and everything I said above holds true for it, too, but it’s less floaty and more deliberate. You can definitely tell the difference in power and though it’s not heavy or much different in weight from the mono, it feels more solid on the string. I think all 3 versions are within a couple of tenths of a gram of each other. The Max is just more interested in spinning and feels like it has a motor or something . Pretty much what I was hoping for.

It’s the same shape as the Amusing 2, and I think they nailed it. Really hard to see the difference in profiles between the 1&2, but you can feel it. The cups are remarkably different, and I just noticed last night that the 2 is a little more shallow than the 1, so probably changes the weight distribution. That coupled with the steel rings makes it a keeper for me.

IMO, there’s a place for all three in a collection as they are similar, but you can tell the differences. I also like the polished finish of the first and the blasted finish of the 2 and Max. Very smooth and easy to grind. Hope this helps and you pick one up!

Don Brassi featuring a squirrel eating what I think is leftovers I threw out yesterday :+1:t5:

Loved the original Don and I think I’m geared to like this version more. They play mostly the same but so far the brassi just has a lil exta something something, a little extra magic (1.2g extra weight be specific) dripped over it that I’m digging.
