How does the slim with shims play? I play mine with just the slim and accept that it’s not gonna do string tricks

No shims I cant even trapeze without snagging. With 1 or 2 thin shims, I can split the atom consistenty and boingy boing once or twice on perfect throws.
Still very much a 0A ripper with shims, but a little less aggressive.
listen, I know I was going off about the hdmelon. But I will be trying to cop 2 of these eos instead!

Does it need any maintenance with the shims? I kinda like I don’t have to do anything to my gamer with the half spec, would be nice to be able to hit tape measure and flyaway dismount on it though
i never did any maintanence with the gamer except adding shims, until i lubed a full size bearing lol

What shims do you use for your gamer with the half spec then. I assume you need to use the full size c axle with this set up as well
i’m still using the smaller axle, even with the full size C bearing (only because I didnt have my longer one last night lol). with the thin shims it didnt feel bad at all, with th efull c it feels a little too short but it works. Get the THIN version.
Do I need the pair in or just one of them?

So are the rims brass? The name with both brass and SS in it, makes it kind of confusing.

They are brass. The “SS” in Banshee SS doesn’t actually stand for “stainless steel.” It’s for “Super Speed,” an American muscle car reference.
Or such is what I’ve heard, at any rate.
Edit: I had the phrase wrong, should be “Super Sport” (not sure where I got “speed” from)
