That gorge is so freaking beautiful!! In terms of the slimmer shape what can you compare it too? ( I’m not a big fan of slimmer shaped yo-yos but I really wanna try one of these!)

Hey, I actually have a decent amount of slim organics.

It’s taller than most, both wider and bigger in diameter.

Gorge: Weight - 67.7 grams - Diameter - 59.5mm - Width - 39.42mm

YWET with original Side Effects: Weight - 68.3 grams - Diameter - 57mm - Width - 38mm

Diorama with Flat Caps: Weight - 63.1 grams - Diameter - 55.7mm - Width - 37.85mm

Panorama with Flat Caps: Weight - 65 grams - Diameter - 55.7mm - Width - 37.85mm

Bolt 2: Weight - 64.5 grams - Diameter - 56.12mm - Width - 39.05mm

Canvas: Weight - 67.1 - Diameter - 54.63mm - Width - 40.4mm

Of these, the Panorama and Bolt 2 are probably the floatiest. The Gorge has the most power. The one I enjoy the most is probably the Canvas.

When I was learning with these types of yoyos, it took me way longer than that to get to where I felt comfortable, if that gives you any peace of mind. If you don’t like it, you don’t like it, but it’s there to discover for you just like it is for everyone. One thing that helps me learn is to not get ahead of myself. When I’m practicing mounts, I throw the mount and return the yoyo. No tricks. Over and over. It feels good to focus and see the progress without the tricks in between, especially if I know I can do the trick on another yoyo. Then, when I feel like I’ve had some decent success, I risk it all. Hard and fast trick. It only takes a minute, and a failure is just a failure, and that can help me find what to focus on next.
Good luck, however you do.

I just let my neighbor try my Deep State and he was rockin’ it after 2 throws (side style, front style). I introduced him to throwing 1 1/2 years ago. Thanks for the advice.

Hey @ChrisFrancz, I hear what you are saying.
I thought I would try and compete in the 0a contest and only throw a fixed axle for the month. I learned 4 of the 7 tricks required for entry, but I was failing at such a high rate that I became frustrated, and upset with yoyoing. I didn’t want to play yoyo any more after about the 19th, and dreaded having to play at all.
So I took a day off, and then had a day of 1a with no specific trick in mind and it was nice.
And today I played some 2a and It finally clicked, and it was very fun.

So as someone else mentioned, maybe try something else for a bit.

I know that doesn’t specifically help your sleeper.
When I throw frontstyle i noticed I have to throw, what seems like, 5 degrees to the right of straight down to achieve a perfectly straight down sleeper. Maybe that helps?

Good reply! Thank you. I throw sleepers a bit to the right too. I thought I was odd doing this but it works. I’ll be working on it. I will find my way with the Deep State and make it work.

It’s a truly amazing throw. So much power and stability. Just insane. I’m now considering an Edge Infinity simply because of how much I like this one.

Wanted to try this one for months but just couldn’t make myself spend money on it. Happy i foot it in a trade though. Excellent little budget throw.
