Paint job on the Bolt came out pretty good. Got a ct in it too. This thing is sick without caps

Sorry for the late response been busy.
Overall I enjoy this one .
The weight is nice because it’s a good balance of stable without feeling too heavy.
It’s definitely a slimline I think panorama heads should try out .

Yup. It was pretty easy. I used a 1/4” wood dowel and Elmer’s School Glue

Do those cap swaps actually fit properly?

The Aluminum caps don’t secure the axel and nut in place properly on the XT. The XT caps are flat and help secure the nut in place, whereas the aluminum caps are domed. I was able to remedy the problem with a piece of tape. Other than that they work well. I really like the XT caps on my Freehand One.
