What are you throwing, 2022?

Been throwing the Dang 2 a lot since I got it a few months ago. It’s got that special “something” :face_with_monocle:

I have a Dang 2 also, and while I like it, the response seems a little grabby. It’s better with a little wear and thinner string, but once in a while it still comes up unexpectedly. Is yours like this as well?

Yea binds are definitely a little tighter and it can grab if you’re not careful, but I think that’s part of the charm for me. It forces me to be just a little more mindful. After experimenting with different setups, I ended up going back to the OD flat bearing with Kitty Fat and the response feels just right.

Anyone know what strings come with these rain city throws? They go so well with them, thick strings are just way too grippy

Flat caps look nice in the Rebirth. I’m going to have to swap some in to mine and check it out.

@OlHandyJenkins It feels good with the flat caps! It increases the density slightly, slows it down a bit, and makes it feel substantial and meaty on the string! Really nice control - it just jammmms. I like. Thanks for the suggestion!

The best thing about ultra-lites is that they add as little center weight as possible, though I can’t help but wonder if it is possible to remove a bit more material from them; maybe make them only 2g?

That is a thing of beauty.

It’s a one drop deep state. Smooth and smooth and fun.
Perchance to dream.

I think it’s their edition of Sochi, it’s a strand or two thinner than normal Sochi. They sell it on their site in a few different colourways, I use it for grippy yoyos, especially minis, like the Loony and the Toonie.

I wish there were hyperlites. More than ultra. Just today I was imagining replacing the steel axle in SEs with something in a lighter alloy or a shorter steel axle.

Can’t get over how good the WISH is. Easily one of the best yoyos I’ve ever used.

Yes, it sure is - and gorgeous. I’ve got a green one, but that blue is stunning. Makes me think of picking up another one.

Yeah. I’m not a fan of blue, but it’s my blue yoyo for the collection. It’s a nice color.
