Throwing the Yoyofriends mini titanium proto.
Gave it some pretty colors first though. Tested a new (for me) ano technique for the cups, worked out well I think.
looks beautiful!
Came out nice yeah. Coloring the rims something different was a pain though.

1998 me is super jealous. wondering if the mythical legend is really as good as i always thought it would be with those old school cork brake pads though…
The Free Solo is much less floaty and plays a lot faster then the Terrarian while still being very controlled. It spins longer too, I’d definitely recommend it.
Have you compared it to the Legendary Terrarian or the basic Terrarian?
Curious about this as well (LT). I’ve heard if you have one, there’s no need for the other, but wondering if that 7075 and lighter weight are dramatic enough to warrant a buy.
The basic Terrarian.
In my opinion the LT and Free Solo are not very alike.
With side effects it’s harder to push weight away from the center as it needs to receive the nut capture system (side effects). Side effects usually means more center weight.
The LT shape is similar but it is strikingly slow and easy going compared to the Free Solo, this could be due to the center weight from the side effects. This center weight also helps the LT play with more float than the free solo.
This is all my experience, of course. I have both and I dont think its a fair comparison.
Switched up the Panorama with some brass domes and a center trac today. It plays just as classy as it looks.
I’ve got a bag of a hundred or so also 90+ brake pads. The brake pads never wear out they just become unresponsive over time. One of my favs! Also have cold fusion, etc ad nasuem.
Very nice Sir!
Huh? For a brake pad, isn’t “becoming unresponsive” how they “wear out”?
You just have to be able to bind!!!
Thankfully I can perform just such an maneuver…
