Want to know about raw.

I’m wanting to buy a raw 7075 yoyo, but there’s a couple of things I’m not sure about.

Because they aren’t anodized, does that mean that the bearing seats are weaker and prone to damaging more easily? I hear this is the case for raw 6061, but I’m not sure it applies to 7075.

Also, how often will it need to be polished? Are we talking after months or years?

I’d say that you never ‘need’ to polish the yoyo. The only raw 7075 yoyo I have is the Draupnir and i’ve never polished it, but that might also be because it has a clear coat maybe?

As for the bearing seat, of all the yoyos I’ve used I’ve never messed one up and didn’t even know that was a concern people had. Is there a 6061 throw that has this problem is that why you’re asking?

I get you want to know all about a product before you invest in it but if you and I have never heard any major complaints about these issues and this is the only thing holding back your purchase, you’re probably good to go.
