I only see some t-shirts and belt buckles for sale at the moment … were there any yo-yos left in stock ? I just checked and I don’t see any… maybe they sold out ??? I can’t imagine anyone buying vsnyyc tshirts and belt buckles anymore.

You guys do realize that the only reason he stated this was to make us feel sympathetic towards him, right? He’s trying to play the victim and make us feel sorry for him. Well, tough luck, dude.
Buy his yoyos if you want. Go ahead and “support” Heath too. Yea, his yoyos may play great, but each and every time you throw, you’ll just be reminded of the poor cancer kids who might’ve benefited from the money. This wasn’t just Heath changing his mind last second. I feel as if he intended to do this all along. I’m trying to be empathetic about this situation, but every scenario ends up like this: “Well, if I steal the money, I can go buy something nice and the yoyo community will think I donated it!” Even if he needed money desperately, his crime was still unjustifiable.
I am also trying to be empathetic with the people who got scammed, and I can really understand their anger. This wasn’t a matter of, “If I donate some money I get a cool yoyo”. A lot of people really care about cause for cancer, and hopefully would have donated even if they got a crappy one.
It seems not even this little niche of a community can escape the grimy hands of greed and money. :-\

A heads up:
Tim Yee sent his Ti Walker back to Heath for repair, and hasn’t heard back about it. So, if anyone sees Ti Walker #36 for sale or trade out there, it’s Tim’s.
Heath was online just a little while ago. He untagged himself from my angry post and cleaned up all the negative stuff on his Facebook wall. So he’s not too busy to address this stuff, he’s just a coward.
I agree with the others who say something should be done now. Why wait? This travesty has gone on for far too long, already.

Andre has already paid for those items, so it’s up to Andre to sell or eat a loss on them. Odds are expecting a refund for non-sold merch due to issues of “ethics” probably won’t go anywhere. What Andre does with the proceeds is entirely up to his decision.
That is totally BS that he hasn’t got his ti walker back. I remember the conversation a while back on Facebook and I can’t believe he hasn’t got it back to him. Ether you can fix it or you send it back. I hope you get it back dude.

Well i hope he can sell the rest and make his profit so there is no loss. But it goes to show that this has other impacts on the community as well. Very sad.

I cringed when I looked at Heaths wall and saw that post… Poor guy. I hope he gets his yoyo back.
All I can say is I am speechless. After the incident with YoYoNation; I cannot believe this. Sad how bad this has gotten.
Let alone money that was supposed to go to a charity. For shame, Heath.

Update.
I just received a call from Heath. He told me that he’s received a loan from his mother. The money is being transferred to his paypal account and will take 3-4 days to get there. When it does he’ll be making the remaining donation.
He’s asked me to make this post.
The fact that he called me out of the blue with this info seems to lend credence to it being legitimate.
Well That’s good, I doubt vsnyyc will make a comeback from this tho
LJ, I am glad you are keeping us up to date… but I really wish you weren’t. Please don’t read that as me not wanting to know what is going on or that I have something against you. Quite the opposite, you are doing an admirable job of keeping everything on the level and keeping us informed. Thank you for that.
The thing is, this isn’t YOUR job to post updates. It is HEATH’S job to do this. He should be on here telling us what is going on and keeping everyone in the loop. No one should be his intermediary. This is just another cowardly, half-arsed way of doing things on his part. He needs to sack-up, get in here, and take his lumps, not hide behind the mods and expect them to be his mouthpiece.
Before anyone says it I will say it myself… Yes, I am quite upset and yes this is personal. Like many who are mad, I too have lost people to cancer. It is a horrible disease that needs a cure. The fact that Heath stole money that had been earmarked for cancer research sickens me. He has lost quite a bit more than his respect and his company… he has lost the friendship of many members of this community, myself included.

This disgusts me. Of all the communities to take from, I can’t believe he would harm the most innocent, caring, and welcoming community I have ever experienced. But, not only does he take from us, he proceeds to take from something absolutely legitimate. Cancer research needs the money.
I don't care what he used the money to buy, or why he needed to buy it. I do care that the money gets back to ACS, and fast. I truly hope that Vsnyyc doesn't recover from this. They don't deserve to. Thanks to Andrew and all the guys who used to be on the team. Way to be above the situation.
