unleashed vs. loop 900

im getting into 2a and want to get some of my own looping yoyos, ive been borrowing my friends for a couple of days. Ive narrowed it down to loop 900 or yyj unleashed… i’d rather have the unleashed because it is cheaper, but im kind of turn off by the adjustable gap. How easy is it to change the gap? Would i accidentally change it when it returns to my hand?

Also if anyone else has looping yoyo suggestions please let me know because im new to 2a, as long as it is cheap. Im trying to save up from a cascade soon.

To answer your question, it is not that easily adjusted, so you don’t have to worry about the gap size changing during play. However, each time you unscrew the yoyo, when screwing it back, you have to make sure that the gap is at your preferred setting again. For the loop 900, you don’t have to worry about that, since the gap width is changed using a key, not by screwing the two halves.
