Undersize FHZ? Check! Updated 1/14/10

Had this translucent blue FHZ here and had some time, so I decided to do some modding! I ‘highwalled’ it to get rid of the sticker lip, silicone recessed it, cut some shmoove rings, and then started cutting on the rims to make it undersize. I finished it off with a spiral satin. Weighs in at 66.4 grams and is 51mm in diameter now. I’m putting it up for sale if anyone’s interested!

1/14/10 Update

Just got out of the shop. Finished 4 of these babies. I call 'em MOMZ (Maxed Out Mini Zero). What 'cha think? I decided to go a little smaller this time and cut them to 50.5mm instead of 51mm. I also ‘wiped’ the caps. First time doing it, and I love the result! Sorry for the crummy pics. I will get better pics tomorrow.

WOW!!! That’s hot, grea job!!!

How does it play?

Plays great. Has a light vibe pretty comparable to a stock FHZ.

How much do you think you’ll be selling it for?

^^ $40

how do u chop them down?

Taig lathe.

the satin finish looks amazing :o

I’m Jealous!!! >:(

I think I should make one similar but with a twist if icthusness.

Misc. Household objects made to be put in yoyos? AWESOME.

I heard that icthus was a little twisted already!

Yeah, go for it Icky!

what tool did you use to make it undersize because that is fricking beast

Thanks! I machined it on my Taig lathe.

I will Rice but I need to get some new tooling first. All of mine have been ground too short.

Just finished up 4 more of these. Pics in the original post.
