Hey, i recently bought a koncave bearing from someone last week. it has only been a week, but it is starting to rust. How do i fix/prevent rusting?
If it’s rusted now, soak it in WD-40 for 30 minutes or so. Then clean it and blow it out good. The only way to keep it from rusting again is to lightly lube it. If it’s just rusted on the outer race, some 0000 steel wool will clean it up nicely.
