ASTer:
This is the second signature model for 2020 1A division National Champ Yuta Kashiwaya - The ASTer!
The ASTer features a tri-metal construction with an aluminum body, stainless steel inner rim, and titanium outer rim. It is modeled after his first signature model, the MSG, with similar specs. But the tri-metal weight distribution gives it a completely different feel in play.
Where the MSG focused heavily on spin power and stability, the ASTer puts more emphasis on maneuverability and acceleration. The Titanium outer rim disperses the weight in such a way that even at 70g the yoyo doesn’t feel overly heavy in play. It’s a well balanced design that gives the heavier weight feel very approachable to everyone!
Acanthus:
The Acanthus is a brand new signature model for World Champion Takeshi Matsuura designed for 5A play.
With four 5A world championships under his belt it’s safe to say Takeshi knows what it takes to make a good 5A yoyo, and the Acanthus is exactly that! Designed specifically with 5A in mind, the Acanthus has a wider step-round profile with the signature Turning Point styling. It’s a rim heavy mono-metal design with plenty of power and a nice balance between speed and maneuverability.
Acanthus is a more than competent performer in and string trick style, but with a counterweight on the other end of the string it really shines!
