Just was using my FH1 and it got me wanting to learn more tricks with it. I know it’s more of a skill issue but I try to avoid hoppy type tricks with it after nailing my knuckles too many times. I usually like to do White Buddha, Kamikaze..the older type of tricks. With that said; what tricks do you guys like to do with the freehand 1? Tutorials would be great too.

I am a masochist ig and like to use my FH1s for tricks that are a bit more difficult bc fh1 is responsive. It helps me feel like I know a trick well if I can do it responsive. Almost every trick i know can be done w a responsive yoyo like the only things i can’t do are keychain style slacks. Here’s the combo I did for TaW this week w my FH1 for fun. Has a couple suicides in it which feels super satisfying to execute w the FH1.
Ig my point is just do whatever kinda stuff you normally like to do. Or play it safer and focus or more roll based stuff vs hoppy and that is cool also w/e no rules bb

Thanks Henry. I’m trying to get better with the FH1 but I always end up banging up my knuckles or even my face and end up with a black eye 
. I want to start using it more often because I can see it definitely being beneficial with playing more fluid and on plane.

I will eventually get a responsive rancid milk down, but i think my freehands are a tad too unpredictable for the task at my current skill😅
