Trick got ya stumped?

Finally getting down the ripcord tension hook after a long battle. All cause of this thread. Thanks guys. Another trick I hate that I don’t know if this thread can help me from is Yuuki slack. Been messing around with it for a long time and have slowly made progress but definitely not there yet.

Yeah it’s definitely super fun and working through these when I was pretty new to Yoyo absolutely helped me improve and understand snags better! Shoutout @EOS44 ! I seriously love this video lol

@Yooo — Yuuki slack is annoying at first for sure. The best advice I can give is to try to just ignore what is going on as much as possible and just do the movements. Kinda like boing e boing in that way. Just go slow and smooth to figure out the hand movements at first. Then figure out the pace to make it look cool but getting the hand movements to where you don’t have to think as much really helps.

This tutorial is great. I’ve been attempting sea sick for 3 years and i can’t get the rhythm, but this breakdown makes much more sense. Thanks!

The repeater in the start of the clip. Has me stumped on its name, how to do it and if there is a tutorial. Thanks You in advance!

I have no idea where I’m going wrong but I’m struggling with dismounting wrist mount. The part where you rotate the throw hand to open up two strings… no idea which strings I’m supposed to put the yoyo on. Kinda frustrating because ittjust a basic mount i want to learn to move on to spirit bomb

you mount it on the string closest to you. can try to record something closeup if thatll help

Thanks. I think I’ve got it now! I’ll keep practicing after lunch.

awesome! ill still leave this if it helps, but it’s the one that starts as the middle string and once you rotate its the closest to you

behind the back tricks

I’ve been practicing those for a lil and here’s what I got:
When your yo-yoing make sure that your hands are in a straight line or the string with go in different direcitions u don’t want it to go
Make sure the string isn’t hitting your back cus u need full control over the yo-yo.
Make sure to get as much of a straight throw as possible since its pretty hard to get back on track when doing behind the back.
