I totally forgot to mention, at 40 seconds in I pinch the string with my left hand. My bad :skull:

Yes! I meant to include this one as well, I’ll edit the post. It’s not quite as clear/concise, but it does have a lot of helpful tips.

Related question for folks: has it been helpful posting multiple tutorials? Would it be more helpful to pick one and then just link them as additional resources?

Imo having multiple ones offers alternatives easily for people not understanding something. Like imo I struggle to understand anything that’s not in pov. Like just hearing stuff goes right over my head

Could you tell me how it helped you understand it better so I can take some notes for future tuts?

Please note that I haven’t tried the trick yet. I have just watched the video. I feel like it goes into more detail and has a lower pacing. (It explains the trick in 5 mins and not in one). Also, It takes a step by step approach showing two ways to move the final slack.

I have found multiple tutorials useful as the more info available on the tricks helps me understand the newer or more complicated elements.

No such thing as too many resources

That being said I do think too many becomes overwhelming, or scary to approach. so probably 3 max unless it can be justified imo

It’s been very helpful for me to have multiple tutorials posted. I like how last week there was a longer tutorial with more details and a shorter tutorial I could watch repeatedly to help me memorize the steps.

Yo I love this trick. I went with the classic magic drop opening bc there’s a ton of different ways to set up this slack and the bounce.

This trick is hard and took me a while to learn at first but is definitely worth it. It has a very good lesson in there about committing bc to make it work, you kind of need to just commit and take a blind leap at first. Can’t really fuddle through it and go slow; kinda need to just go for it.

I used the hobbygod tut to first learn it and was using a full pinch. Then I learned it with no pinch and that helped me get the trick consistent. Now I prefer a half pinch where the pinch is just kinda loose and the string can still slide. I say this just so y’all can think about the different pinch techniques and try them all out. Good luck everyone

Yes! Also, your camera setup is great. Even though it’s not really close up, everything is easy to see.

real talk! this is def one of those tricks that the more you hesitate the more it just doesn’t work. also torsion. torsion compounds any hesitation exponenentially

Yo just fyi for future reference—if you go into the yt url and replace the

shorts/

with

watch?v=

And delete the ?si= and everything after that,

So that the link looks something like

Then the video will embed directly
