Week 52–Control Workshops
Yo so this is the final week of the year. I just want to say thank you to everyone that has participated! I hope y’all learned some tricks or at least got some new things bookmarked to learn later.
I will not be continuing the thread next year but think @digitalcharlie will keep it going. Y’all should hit him up if you want to help out.
I am going to copy @mable and post Akitoshi Tokubuchi’s control workshops for the final trick. Please watch them all and learn what you can. These are amazing exercises.
Thank you for providing such awesome tricks every week for a whole year. I have learned a lot from them. Without this thread, I would probably not have kept pushing to learn new elements every week!
I love to see the control workshop again. There is a lot of value in those videos. Learning all this will surely refine your play.
Things have finally settled down enough that I think I can start trying to follow along again. Well… I’ve never stopped following along but I have not had the mental strength to commit to the learning process. The last few months have been very hectic with the home buying process and neurology appointments and blah, blah, blah. My ability to focus my attention also seems to have diminished, so following instructions has been more difficult. I really like the look of Circus Rings but I wasn’t able to get the tutorial to play until just now. It looks doable and I want to give it an honest go. I also totally plan to go over this week’s tutorials as I like the idea of exercises. @GTDropKnot thank you so much for the work you’ve done on this thread and I hope you’ll still be around in the coming year.
For anyone wondering: I’m planning to keep TaW going next year with @Splizacular — so if you have any tricks or types of things you really want to see, send stuff our way!
Love this control workshop, especially because between last year and this year I can really see the difference for myself.
Thanks to everyone for a great year of tricks! @GTDropKnot and @digitalcharlie have gone above and beyond to provide us with the best thread on the forum! Sorry to see you move on @GTDropKnot but I have no doubt that @Splizacular will do a fantastic job. Great work in stepping up, @Splizacular! I’m willing to help out too, if necessary… hope the new year will be happy, healthy and fruitful for everyone!
Big huge thank you to @digitalcharlie@GTDropKnot for the work they put into this thread. It truly is one of the best places on the internet. You guys rock.
