Just wanted to know if there is any1 in Europe that would like to trade yoyos. Since international shipping sucks).
I’m from germany and got an Otter and a minitee wich I would trade.
Those are kinda expensive. Would you trade 2 for one? (Meaning you will get 2 yoyos).
depends on what you got to offer.
Hi George,
I do not have much but open for trades
Here are the models I am willing to trade:
An aubergine yoyofriends koi. (One small ding and one "i think they are called pinpricks in yoyo jargon, as in a small mark after collision with my wedding ring). No vibe at all.
An ace yo gravity (inner ring bimetal) raw b grade I won at a contest. No vibe. I have only done some horizontal tricks for a certain period. Never really played it. No vibe, several cosmetic flaws on rainbow rings. Few marks but this is how I received it. (Giveaway won on Instagram).
Magic yoyoy03 hertz. Galaxy pink blue splash. Mint condition.
Luftverk plastic peak blue. (Mint condition). That yoyo never really clicked for me. Never dinged. Only changed pads to summer tires just to try them. In the beginning I played a lot and the first pads were worn out. After the honeymoon period though…
If any of that interests you, I can take some photos later in the day.
I do not mind trading 2 for one. Do not really care for selling but if someone is interested and they have no yoyos to offer I am open for discussion.
Thanks but there is nothing I would like. I do love this thread tho. Hopefully we can keep it going <3
My collection is small till now. I have been yoyoing for 2 years and have only 11 yoyos. (3 of them are damaged beyond repair). Some of them I am not willing to give away.
Maybe next time.
I am also in Germany. But there is nothing really I am looking for. But there are more people from the EU on this forum which I do not wanna tag because of privacy reasons but they may also hop on the thread. BTW at least from Germany, international trades are cheap and easy when you do not need tracking. I stole this method from the Chinese shippers here. If you use our biggest letter format you can easily ship 5 yo-yos international for 5€ in normally 1-2 weeks.
I have just received 2 gummyweights from us.
Order cost : 39 euros.
Shipping: 20 euros
Customs fees : 32 euros.
I live in Greece. You can pull such an order of once or twice for things that do not exist in Europe. But for trades, it is simply not worth it.
I did a lot of trades with the US and never had to pay a single € import. But I let everything declare as used toy and trade.
Edit: but sure if you buy from a shop I also pay import
I did not know that this was possible. Still 5 euros shipping seems crazy. Can you send me a private message with a link from a courier company that offers such low prices?
Thanks.
You maybe better off buying a cheap 3D printer
It is not like I ll be buying one counterweight per week…
For us it is just our standard postal service called “deutsche post” and the format is maxi letter.
I know from other people from Europe they were also not aware but after research they found out they had similar formats in their countries.
Best check what Chinese shippers use in your country.
