Your strings look killer!
Looking at your site I see you also make ‘left handed’ strings.

I’ve thought about trying that just to see what happens. What is the effect of a right hander playing a lefty string?

If you play a string that’s made for your opposite throwing hand, it’ll LOSE torsion really fast, unwinding the string.

New skulls are live. Other molds in the new colors will be available in the next week or so.

Am I daft? I can’t find them on your site

There’s a “Shop Counterweights” button on the homepage. I also just put one in the Hero on the homepage

New in the catalog: the Responsive Family Sampler. Three formulas selected for feel over speed: one Pollen, one Nectar, one Spore.

You can find them by visiting either the Pollen, Nectar, or Spore sections of the site.

Do you have comparisons for your gauges that I could reference? How thin/thick are Fine, True, and Heavy compared to some more common strings on the market?

Depends on the blend, but true runs about what you’d expect, sometimes a bit thicker for comfort blends. Fine is pretty damn thin, and heavy from about what you’d expect to a slight bit thicker.

Well, the cat is out of the proverbial bag thanks to Berv jumping the gun on the Throw-Yo website.

Sericin

disposition: docile // velocity: brisk // shelf life: enduring
feel: soft // length: 120/150cm // silk: 100%

Berv makes it by hand in Connecticut, which is an objectively strange use of his time. I respect it. Boutique throws deserve a string that was also made by a boutique shop, with some intention behind it.

Docile. Brisk. Soft on contact. Sericin.

Coming soon from Throw-Yo Threads.

The first color will be Orpiment (white/yellow, seen above). The name comes from a sulfide pigment, yellow-gold, mined from volcanic deposits and medieval manuscript margins. Toxic in its natural state. Inert here.
