Tell me about it!! I am still trying to catch up with myself… I went to bed at 9pm last night and slept till 9am… I am slowly feeling better… That took a lot out of me!!! hehe 37 years young…
All in all though I had a blast!!! Being local the 2 day event was just fine with me!! I love seeing all the guys two days in a row!!! Thanks to Brian and Jrod for hanging on Friday too!! That was a lot of fun!!! Here is my 2nd place FS (sport 1A 18+)
HAHA Whooops!!! I was talking about the daytime… But yes Fellavader it is ALWAYS a great time hanging with you as well!!! hehe You NH boys can really throw them back!!! hehe
Cheers to the Older Guys not wanting to give up all the kid in you !! I think you all know adults are overated. It was good to see all those happy Throwers in their glory again .Young and Old. You know genuinely these people would rather be no where else money can buy. J Rod makes a point previously that someone else mentioned to me this weekend. That is more contests just for the sake of keeping skills sharp. Just forget all the trophies and glitz you just show up and have a mock contest .Just thought Jason and the other person that mentioned it to me just voiced what might be considered.
Anyone going to this years RI state? Its April 21 apparently. I might be able to go.
NER was so much better this year. I won Sports 1A, won a puffin in a raffle, and best of all got to hang out with PatrickCondon, TotalArtist, YoYoSpirit, Melford, and so many others. Whether it was receiving inspiring, encouraging words from the mind of AJ Kirk or kendama-ing with my friends (Pat) more than I yoyoed. Such a great day guys. Thanks guys.
I swear, out of everyone I spoke with at the contest, you interested me the most. You were very kind to me, and that really made it a decent experience.
The contest was great, but the people weren’t as lively as I had hoped. It was like everyone stayed selective to their groups, their cliques, and the ones who didn’t belong it those groups tend to just wander, but the good part about that is that those people find comfort in each other, and more often than not, those are the greatest friendships. It was wonderful to meet all of you, and the contest was very pleasant, and I may attend next year.
Hehehe. I’m glad you had a good time, and it’s really nice to hear that from you. I really try to do my best to make my way around all the different groups of people throughout the day. Though sometimes it feels like “too many people, not enough time”, I try my darndest.
