This error should be resolved wad getting first entry from my geo search even if it was the county not the city or vice versa

I noticed the 10 mile bump before I made the entry. However, the city I entered was translated as the county. My pin is currently 170 miles from where I live.

It should fix now that I’ve resolved the geo cache issue it may require logging in and re entering your city again

There is a new minor issue we are closing in on. I have a minor fix for it I’m pushing after work when I have time but I have daily api polling limits and I’m about 30 queries away from that limit. I have a fix to setup a queue and retry the pending requests at midnight when the polling limit resets but if we hit the limit before I push the “fix” then some folks might try and get an odd error at some point between now ish and 5pm. EDT
Just an fyi i would love to know what the errors will look like when they hit if anyone sees something off and screenshots it

We hit the api limit so I added a banner that will expire on the reset. Thanks all for the support. Over 64 throwers and 4 clubs verified with a bunch pending and a few errors

The 10 mile random direction jitter should cover that scenario but I imagine something will eventually overlap and I’ll have to figure that one out
yeah.. I don’t check my email often lol I definitely did not verify. I thought I messed it up and deleted my account. I will make a new one tomorrow once it’s accepting entries again. Thanks!

Yoyo player map is chugging along better than I expected. 80 verified throwers, 5 shops and 20 clubs so far is not bad at all

Silly question. What do folks want to see next:
- Multi language for better global reach
- Kendama players, clubs, shops
- Lists and filtering by region and state
- Other (explain in comments)
- Leave it alone bro it’s fine

Well I did the language thing which absolutely sucked. Lots of rebuilding to make that work.
I also did the filtering thing but dealing with debugging issues. I did this more for SEO reasons than anything else
For now the one thing I did do using next-intl has a drop down bar in the nav pane to select language. I refuse to make that automatic it’s too hard lol
Once I figure out the issues on the filtering I think I’ll be done fiddling and just let it be.
I’ll be shifting to volunteer signups for Va states as my priority next week

Filter is live but annoying the real issue is a let the locations be free forms. Woops. Now I need to normalize the data which is a massive pile of sql I have low interest in doing atm. Tried to code my way out of it to display the data regardless but that’s just too hard and it’s a dumb approach when the data cleanup is really what I should be doing…
I’ll probably crack an energy drink and do it at 3am or something cause it’s bugging me lol
