I know next to nothing about the history of modern yoyos, and in reading these forums I’m getting the impression that there is a whole family of yoyos derived from the OneStar shape: OneStar, ProtoStar, NorthStar, RockStar.
Are there any others in the *Star lineage?
It looks like Protostar was the original in that series.

Shaqlerstar. I think there’s one or two others that haven’t been mentioned but I can’t think of them.
I know NorthStar is considered to be a response to the Protostar to some. It was explained to me that Jensen Kimmet liked the Protostar and thus the NorthStar was made.
