I finally figured out the last slack whip at the end of Yellow Airplanes aka Kamikaze 2 last night. Took me a few days. This is probably one of the coolest tricks I ever learned. The yoyo literally eats the string at one point! RIP Paul Escolar.

I don’t even know what the “professional way” is because there are many cool variants. In fact dna is just a really fancy variation of the old ufo trick. Or the later variant called tornado bind.

When you do the first pop keep the string high up on your wrist behind your thumb… once you hit the top string you just cross your hands even if the string lands up really high on your hand it’s ok. Helps you learn the trick
