Already went down that road. No fun. To tell you the truth I don’t like the tricks too much anyway.
The only reason I would learn them is to learn Follow and Lord Of The Flies.

I know, but I just can’t figure out how to get the loop to start on the right side.
Something else that just doesn’t work for me is revolutions. I just can’t do it! Haha
I don’t know why, but I found Twirly Bird (frontstyle revolutions) easier. I eventually got the revolutions part of revolutions but I still suck at sticking my finger back into the loop and halting the trick. I should practice that so that I can actually perform the trick. >_<
Sometimes you just gotta know when to say no. I think I’ll give revolutions a whirl next, you guys talked me into it.

I hit 1 year of yoyoing (I do 1a,3a, some 4a, and some 5a now) tomorrow, which is the date my dv888 arrived in the mail. I’ve gone so far haha
Also (very luckily) landed hook 2.0 and iwasAwa tower 
Can sometimes land behind the back horizontal trapeze to gyro

I’ve had a good week for fixed axle. finally landed a kickflip and can land a couple repetitions of zipper stalls. It really feels good to be able to land things like that, even if it isn’t consistent yet.
I’ve got up to the slack part of Ladder escape super smooth now. The slack is kind of still a bit choppy.
The slack part looks wonky and choppy no matter who does it. I’m sure you’re doing great!
It’s such a fun trick! You gotta learn it! I don’t know what it is about it, but it is awesome!

I have been throwing a lot this week when I get home from work, got the cold fusion going well, skin the gerbil, now working on Mcbrides. Also started to combining matrix, cold fusion, and gerbil. They are not great but I have the moves right that’s a start. It is a nice feeling to be able to see what goes into tricks once you start getting into higher levels.

After months of being able to hit Jade whip, I just hit 2-3 Iron whips last night.
I just did the opposite! I’ve been able to do iron whip for awhile (though not super consistently), finally managed to hit a couple of jade whips last night. =)

Congrats. I’ve got the jade whip down, but for some reason that iron whip is so hard.
I think I made up a trick… Brent stole 1.5… You do a hook 1.5 but move your NTH forward under your TH and it should end up in a normal GT in a suicide 1.5 kinda like formation
Brent stole 2.0… Same as hook 2.0 but with a triangle instead of the bottom mount
I know, right? I just can’t get it down with any consistency yet. The back of my TH seems to move too much and jerk the yoyo around making it harder or something. Maybe I’ll have an iron whip day. That’s what it took for me to get jade whip. Whole day of nothing but that.
