I’ve landed it before but just got some Epic Strings Whippy in and landed Brent Stole on my first throw after failing who knows how many times before.
Never really knew what was considered a good whippy string until I tried this Epic String out.

Started actually practicing 5A seriously after remembering yoyonews saying it’ll be dead in the water by 2015, after an hour I’m happy to say I can do these consistently:
Windmill, 5A Trapeze, 360, 720, Rock On!, 5A 1/2 Mount, 5A Double or Nothing, all of them were pretty easy to get down. Next challenge, catching my Windmills, 360’s and 720’s without moving my TH.
can do off-axis (more or less around 40 degrees) 5A Trapeze to Red Halo haha still not consistent yet pretty hard.
wrist mount slack if you dont know what that is
I got that one a few weeks ago, but my slack is never quite slacky enough. Not sure if my hand’s out of position or my string’s too short (probably both). But more importantly… no idea what to do from that cross-armed trapeze position. I’ve just been putting in my NTH forefinger and making a trapeze in order to continue from there. Discover anything more interesting than that?

Ninja Vanish…Oddly enough I learned it for my GF, since I did it right as she gave me an early gift…a legit Ninja tree ornament…Lolzy shazam…I hate slack, so this is hard to do voer and over for me.

Nice. I just started landing this as well. My Shoot the Moon is still atrocious, but I can do it the one time necessary to do Lunar Landing.
hmm Ive never heard of that trick before do you know where I can find a tutorial on it?
It’s a fixed-axle trick. Shoot the Moon to one handed stall. I haven’t seen a tutorial, but I think you can see the trick in Ed’s Advanced Stall Tactics video.
I still can’t shoot the moon.

Like I said, I can only do the one (1) necessary to do Lunar Landing. Forward, up then stall. If I try to Shoot the Moon again I might hit it, or it might hit me ;).
GregP and yooldman, shoot the moon is really hard. if it’s any help to you, i found that i had to really focus on the yo-yo a lot, which i usually don’t do (no ninja like concentration here). after literally months of practice, i am getting better, getting the reps up.
when you get the feel for it, the trick has an amazingly smooth feel and it’s like the yo-yo is on a rail. hard to explain, but you’ll know it when you get it.
