The End Part II

in the end I didn’t understand one thing, do a-grade popcorn exist? or were they all engraved as b-grade?

I like my the End pt.2 too. It’s challenging and unique feeling throw. Though I haven’t played any of Anti-Yos

from Elvins site for this batch II release: “Inspired by the nostalgic charm of retro popcorn boxes, the “Popcorn” red and white splash colorway aligns with the movie theater theme depicted in the artwork. The handful of A grades were gifted to RSO collectors.”

mable calling the End II “one of the best organics I’ve ever played” is a far cry from declaring it one of the best organics of all time. This really seems like you are arguing with the wind, as the rarity point was not even brought up - only the point that Anti-Yo is expensive now. And yes, obviously Corea deserves a ton of credit for both the original mod and inspiring this yoyo. “Mythologizing” aside, the proof is in the pudding when it comes to just how influential the Eetsit/Bapezilla were. I have to agree that it is very cool to hold something that was worked from the original CAD, which, perhaps unfortunately for the sake of the “argument” taking place here, is just an opinion.

thanks… I didn’t know how much to trust the information published as the acid washes are not mentioned and some Finali have been put up for sale of which there is no news and it is not clear where they come from… but that’s ok

probably need to ping Elvin directly to clarify. he didn’t mention that a grades were not engraved right side up like the presentation grade releases either…

everything is expensive today, less than a month ago they offered me €850 for the grizzly bear and months ago €500 for the Markmont OG, this doesn’t mean anything, it doesn’t make them special objects, they are simple yoyos and their true value is the one to which they were offered for sale in shops. as for the rest, if we’re going to quibble over words… honestly it’s a sport that bores me

Discourse didn’t update for me, so I missed most of the exchange that occured here while it was happening and I was writing. I disagree, but I’m gonna drop it.

That’s awesome! Did you get lucky with all those number 6’s or did you trade for them?

I bought a prelude from Doc Pop’s site and got number 25 - I bought this just in case I struck out on the Eetsit colorway and was going to sell it if I got one. I was able to snag the Eetsit and got number 25 for it as well. I decided I’m keeping both just because of that!

Appreciate the love  It’s not likely we’ll do anything again with .555 pads.

B grade from Doc Pop. Can’t find any performance flaw, so it must be down to the drab color(?)

We are fine with remake of the OG Project just with Side Effects and Flow Groove pads

from what i’ve read, the B grades were due to anno flaws, not mechanical issues.

i’ve got a B grade popcorn and it’s as smooth as the others I have. the halves are different shades of red but that’s about all i can detect as an issue. which, to be honest, it’s not for me.

enjoy the throw my friends

Got Valencia (I think…?) number 14. No other complains other that it’s not 13. Great yoyo - no ano flaws, smooth as butter and it reminds me of the oldschool vibe of the throws I used to have 20 years go.

Would buy again and again and again (like Wu-Tang).

Peace.

And when were these going to be sold that the Finali went sold out the day before yesterday and they weren’t there?!?
