The definitive "Should I replace my string?" flow chart(s)

Actually I don’t need a flow chart to figure out when to change a Yoyo string. I save time by just changing out strings and not making each possible change an Epic adventure in indecision.

Nothing plays fresher than Fresh inexpensive string.

Except maybe a Kevlar plated puppy with a Titanium heart.

PS… On the 1 string practice(changing the same string from one Yoyo to the next) is simple to explain. The only way to actually get a better view of ‘how much play’ you are getting from a string is to use that string.

Let’s say a guy has a bag with 12 yoyos in it and he lets you throw a few of them. And when you have one in motion he says, ‘that Yoyo has a Kevlar string on it. It is one of my favorite strings. And I have had that string on that Yoyo for 5 months’! So you ask the guy,‘How often do you throw this Yoyo with the Kevlar string’? And he says, ‘oh about once every week or so’.

Obviously that is not a very good gauge of how long a string plays well before it fades out, lol.

Sometimes the best decisions are can be made from accumulating valid, accurate information.
But if you think it’s too much trouble to pay attention…
