This year’s Christmas Charity Event is all about putting real help in the hands of kids who need it most. We’re rallying the community to raise $5,000 in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Every contribution pushes us closer to that finish line and every $5 donated earns 1 raffle entry ($50 = 10 entries). The raffle closes on January 1st

Why St. Jude?

Because no family should face a child’s cancer diagnosis alone, much less a medical bill. St. Jude treats kids battling cancer and other life-threatening illnesses at zero cost to their families. Donations go directly toward treatment, research, and the hope that someday no child will die from cancer.

Please make sure to set your YYE username as your “display name” on the donation page so entries can be tracked.

I want to apology for including Operation Christmas Child in the raffle. At the time, I genuinely believed it was a simple, wholesome charity option. I was not aware of the deeper concerns surrounding the organization or the controversy attached to its leadership and practices.

Now that I understand the full background, I recognize that including OCC is a misrepresentation of the events intention, and the philosophy behind it.
OCC has been removed from the event and all donations will proceed with St. Jude!

Hello! Just wanted to let ya know it looks like one of the people’s names on the sheet did the thing where the number at the end increments up when you drag down to fill cells. Sgt1Yoyo1 incremented all the way up to SgtYoyo10, which I imagine could possibly mess up reaching out to them later. Hopefully that made sense - should be a quick fix! Love this, thank you @Cmchappell97 and all sponsors, and yoyoexpert for the visibility and what they have going with the Snapbacks Toys for Tots. This forum has literally saved my life in many ways from mental struggles, so it’s awesome to see it making an impact on children’s lives too.

Shameless plus for the Ptarmigan, if you haven’t jumped on the PIF, give it a whirl. I mostly play 0A these days but I make an exception for the D bearing Ptarmigan.

Excited to see how high the numbers can get. This time of year is hard in general and then the economy is not making it easier but I hope we see good outcomes and can pull what we can without hurting our own intetests. Every little bit an go a long way

i usually donate a few thousand to cancer related charities every year since my legal guardian passed from breast cancer a few years ago as she always used to donate alot and i gained her inheritance. My friend told me that a yoyo forum had a fundraiser for St. Jude’s and im more than happy to contribute!!! hoping to add more in the following weeks so that yall can hit ur goal!
