Is it possible to take out the caps of the surge?
Yes.
It is going to take some skills and perhaps some tools. It’s not something I would want to do.
How?
I don’t take off my surges caps but you can pry them off or cut them off but I think you don’t need to take of for any reason because it can reduce sleep time and not work very well.I got mine of by twisting the caps and then prying them off but I did not like the look or weight distribution now I don’t take off my new surges caps.
