Substituting C size bearing for D size

Hey all,

Some I’m dabbling with offstring yoyo. But some of the models I am considering have D bearings. My hang up is that D size bearings seem to be hard to come by and also don’t seem to be many manufacturers compared to offerings for C size. So say if I got the supercell, or supercell react, or the Anotogaster, can I replace the d-bearing with a c-bearing? Appreciate the help.

C bearings won’t fit in a bearing seat made for D bearings. It’s true that D bearings aren’t as easy to come by, but if you treat your bearings right, typically you’ll only need one anyways.
