So as I’ve gotten into string making I’ve been curious how people get different results with string. All of mine have been pretty similar just doing a main color for half then swapping to a second on top for another half. Or just doing one of each at the same time. Results of those methods.
I’m not sure of your current setup, but usually doing a fade or a candy cane requires an actual rig.
For the Candy Cane, you just set up an extra hook in the middle so that when you fold it in half, it becomes 2 singular colored strings that wind together creating the candy cane effect.
