Stretching and framing an oil painting.

So about a year and a half ago I went to France. I bought this awesome oil painting there that has, so far, just been rolled up in the corner of my room.

I finally decided to put it up somewhere this week.

I was going to buy a frame, but the painting isn’t a standard frame size, and a custom one would run me about $40. My dad owns his own woodworking business, so I’m just going to make a frame. I’ll update this when I have :stuck_out_tongue:

I know it’s a long-shot, and I’m not really expecting to find anything, but if someone has any tips or tricks involving framing oil paintings, it’d be much appreciated.

Looks nice. Did you make the stretch frame?

Thanks. Yes I did.
