Steel shutter numbers?

Hey I just received my steel shutter today and I love this little thing. I’ve only been throwing for a month and I can’t land anything on it yet but I know that’s the point. I wanted to use this to perfect the accuracy. My other main throw is an Rtype so I’m going from real wide to tiny.

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me, was it only the first run of these that were numbered? Which also got me looking and I notice some of my throws have serial or manufacturing numbers and some don’t. Is there any reasoning behind this?

When the first steel shutters released Gentry said each of them had a unique number. There were only 400 of these shutters (according to this video). It seems like the steel shutters that are currently being sold don’t have the unique number.

Awesome thank you. I think that’s the video I seen that made me think they all had it. That’s good cause now I won’t feel as bad as it gets used and banged and dinged. Thanks again.

The number would be very small in this location on the outer rim.
